Our Commitment to Privacy

Light Noise is designed with privacy as a core principle. We believe your personal data should stay personal. We do not collect any personal information, and we never will.

Data Collection

We do not collect or transmit any personal data.

Light Noise does not:

• Collect personal information
• Require account creation or login
• Use advertising networks or trackers
• Share any data with third parties

Anonymous Analytics

Light Noise collects anonymous usage analytics to help us understand how the app is used and improve it. We use TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service.

These anonymous signals include:

• Which features are used (e.g., noise types, timer, visual settings)
• Basic device information (device model, OS version, app version)

This data cannot identify you. TelemetryDeck does not collect IP addresses, device IDs, or any personally identifiable information. There are no user profiles, no tracking across apps, and no advertising. You can review TelemetryDeck's privacy practices at telemetrydeck.com/privacy.

Local Statistics

Light Noise includes an optional "Your Stats" feature that tracks your listening history to help you understand your usage patterns. This includes:

• Total listening time and session counts
• Which noise types you use most
• Your daily listening streak
• Sleep timer usage statistics

All statistics are stored exclusively on your device. This data is never transmitted anywhere—we cannot access it, and neither can anyone else. You can clear all statistics at any time from the Settings menu.

Local Storage

Light Noise stores your preferences (volume, timer settings, visual preferences) and listening statistics locally on your device using iOS's standard storage mechanisms. This data:

• Never leaves your device
• Is not accessible to us or anyone else
• Is deleted when you uninstall the app
• Can be manually cleared from within the app

Network Requests

Light Noise sends only anonymous analytics signals via TelemetryDeck. All audio generation, visual rendering, and statistics tracking happens locally on your device. No personal data is ever transmitted.

Children's Privacy

Light Noise does not collect personal data from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change this policy, we will update this page with the new date. Our commitment to not collecting your personal data will not change.
